My Journey

First of all, thank you for taking the time to check out my website.  I hope that you like my work, and get a sense for who I am through my photographs.

I find as an artist, that I try to express my creativity through most of the things that I do.  I've grown this overwhelming passion for capturing places and subjects that have a story of their own.  These places and subjects may change over time, but their stories can be heard and seen if we all pay close attention to them.

You will notice that most of the work I've shared with this website is geared towards traveling, and the outdoors.  I have over the years had the pleasure to work in many different photography genres and industries.

I started with building my photographic knowledge in college at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte when I acquired my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and a minor in Art History.

It was from there that I started exploring how I wanted to utilize my creativity through photography.  I worked in retail building my artistic foundation of portrait photography in a portrait studio environment.  I then ventured into sports photography particularly track and field and baseball.

After some time, I further increased my skills by combining the previous two opportunities with working at Richard Petty Driving Experience as a photographer and specializing in autoracing and portrait/event photography.

Other areas that I also have grown to understand and accomplish are family portraits, weddings, senior portraits, engagement portraits, bridal portraits, and other various events.

After all this time I have found myself coming back to my original basis of enjoying the outdoors, and capturing the beauty in landscapes, fine art, and natural subject matter.

I worked with Canon for 6 years and was thrilled that I got to expand my knowledge of the technology behind photography gear.

So please let me know what you think, I'm always thrilled to hear feedback, whether it's on my website or my work, or if you just want to say a quick hello.  Also check out my other social media pages as well.  And again, thanks for stopping by!
